A curious strawberry-uterus travels across seven continents to collect women's intimate stories, exploring the diverse cultural norms, global taboos, and shared experiences surrounding menstruation. A quirky series that explores a world that all women share but experience in their own unique way.

"Strawberry Weeks" is a quirky 2D animated documentary series exploring cultural and societal differences surrounding menstruation globally. Guided by an animated "strawberry-uterus" mascot, the series travels around the world to present intimate stories with diverse women. As they share their stories, their narratives are brought to life through stylized 2D animation, using morphing and visual metaphors to depict their environments and unspoken feelings. The animated universe offers a creative take using metaphors and creativity to open up the topic and provide girls and women a different perspective on something that is usually very private. It features stories like Azra navigating deep-rooted taboos in a Turkish-German family, Elisha describing celebratory coming-of-age rituals in Sri Lanka, and the stark realities of period poverty in South Africa. The series seeks to break global taboos by highlighting both the unique cultural hurdles and the shared realities of menstruation.
