Ten-year-old Domagoj is known for his wild imagination. People like him but rarely believe his stories. He lives in Zagreb with his parents, sister Kristina, and grandmother. He often watches people at Flower Square and invents stories about them. One such person is “Hammer,” whom Domagoj believes is a bully, but he’s actually an undercover cop. Domagoj and his grandmother hide a painting his late grandfather believed to be a real van Gogh. When a handyman named Horvat arrives due to an electrical issue, strange things start happening. Domagoj spots a man he calls “Fisheye” spying on them. Meanwhile, Jagoda, a girl from his class who secretly likes him, joins him in solving the mystery. She goes missing, and Hammer helps Domagoj save her. It turns out the painting is real, proving Grandfather was right. Domagoj and Jagoda’s friendship blossoms, and even the skeptics learn that dreamers like Domagoj might just be right.
