The Mysgtery of Stone Mountain/Tajemnica Kamiennej Góry

The Mystery of Stone Mountain. A couple of Polish teens spend their holidays in southern-western Poland, a region full of secrets, inhabited by Germans until 1945. They uncover the story of a man who unknowingly survived the Holocaust—rescued as a baby from the ghetto and adopted by German parents.
Maciek, a teen from Warsaw, is sent for the summer to Stone Mountain, a small town in the southern-western Poland which was Germany until 1945. There, he meets Renata (13) with whom he first quarrels and then they start liking each other. Together they investigate a local legend about Nazi treasure and a mysterious loner, Henry (80). Their search uncovers a hidden tunnel, strange photos, and a scar on Henryk’s arm that suggests a hidden identity. With help from Maciek’s father, they discover Henryk is Aron Goldberg, a Jewish child whose parents died in WWII. Aron was adopted and raised under a false identity. The scar is a ritual mark, meant to preserve his real name. The truth comes to light in a dramatic cinema reveal. Maciek, moved by the story, decides to return next summer to look for more adventures with Renata and Henryk.
