SUMMER OF SECRETS

A chubby 11-year-old boy and his sister spend summer in a remote village with their grandmother, whom locals call a witch. Suspecting her and a Hunter of abducting people, the children find a secret lab and learn they’ve been fighting poachers and protecting nature.
Michał (11) and his sister Julka (10) dream of spending the summer in Goa with their mom, but their plans fall apart when their father, Andrzej, discovers that his business partner has stolen money from a mobster. Forced to act quickly, he sends the children to the countryside to stay with their grandmother Jagna — whom they’ve never met — while he stays behind to deal with the situation. In the remote village, a mystery awaits the children: the locals believe Jagna is a witch, strange noises come from her cellar, and a frightening Hunter roams the area. When a local resident goes missing, Julka and Michał begin an investigation. They discover a secret laboratory in their grandmother’s house and start suspecting her and the Hunter of kidnapping. When the children find themselves in danger, a lynx — the true source of the strange noises — comes to their rescue. It turns out that Jagna and the Hunter have been fighting poachers for years and protecting the natural environment.
