Spells at your own risk

Spells at your own risk is a magical fairy-tale comedy about an underachieving wizard who must confront his own conscience and fix the mess he’s made. By helping two young people whose differences hide a deeper connection, he learns the strongest magic lies not in spells, but in selfless courage.
Láb is a wizard—on paper. In reality, his magic is hit-or-miss, and when he turns King Ladislav into an eagle, he ends up hiding both the bird and his guilt. Meanwhile, power-hungry Arpád seizes the throne and locks up Princess Anna, planning to marry her off for an army. But Anna’s no damsel—she prefers swordplay to suitors and can outshoot any man, especially Ondro, a shy baker secretly dreaming of more than pastries. When fate (and an eagle) brings Anna, Ondro, and Láb together in a forest hut, old wounds, new sparks, and questionable magic collide. As Láb bumbles toward redemption, Ondro finds his courage, and Anna her heart. Just in time, because Arpád’s planning a royal wedding… and maybe an execution. A fairy-tale comedy about spells gone wrong, love gone right, and how even a half-decent wizard can do the right thing.
