In the decaying outskirts of Tirana, four teenagers from different backgrounds bond through shared struggle. Artani, a talented writer with an abusive alcoholic father; Ermali, whose fierce loyalty masks deep abandonment issues; Dritani, whose sick sister needs expensive medicine; and Genti, wealthy but emotionally neglected. Desperate circumstances push them to rob a local store, but when the owner is injured, they attract the attention of Besi, a charismatic crime lord. Initially manipulated into Besi’s organization, their paths take a dramatic turn when Artani accidentally kills his father while defending his mother. As Besi’s grip tightens and Ermali narrowly escapes death, the friends realize they’ve learned too much to return to normal life. Using the criminal skills Besi taught them, they create their own organization with a moral code. Their journey from victims to architects of their own destiny shows how roots can be redeemed into branches rather than escaped.
