2002, Istanbul. Gül (17), a private school senior, is shaken after her classmate Yasemin’s suicide. Unknown to others, Gül was involved with Yasemin’s boyfriend, Can, now blamed by everyone. After being caught with Can by the police, Gül is confined to her home by her family. She dreams of studying abroad but is constantly rejected. As she prepares for national exams, she grows closer to her grandmother, who has dementia. On exam night, she sneaks out to a party. There Can appears and İrem, Yasemin’s best friend, exposes Gül’s secret, turning the others against her. As the storm worsens tensions erupt. Gül confronts her guilt and longing for freedom. While others want to escape, she embraces the experience. She falls asleep, dreaming of jumping off a bridge like Yasemin but instead swims in the sea. In the morning, the teenagers exit the house to see the surroundings covered in snails. Despite her shock, Gül gathers the courage to run over the snails. Just then, the rain starts again.
