Patchwork Kingdom

Children’s TV show with patchwork-based art and friendly animal characters, following the everyday adventures of feisty Princess Bianca the mouse and her shy friend Hamster Albert.
In “Patchwork Kingdom”, everything is made of fabric scraps. The show follows the everyday adventures of two little friends: the feisty Princess Bianca, a mouse, who lives in a castle with Mommy Queen and Daddy King, and a shy hamster called Albert, who lives in a wooden hut with his single father, a lumberjack. Each episode is a different, ordinary-extraordinary adventure: the kids organize a picnic, have fun at a royal ball, help a mole with his construction work, travel by balloon, go looking for a sugar mine, kiss frogs, plant flowers, or build a scooter. Friendly non-human characters provide a universal appeal, and the gentle narration of the story allows young viewers to calm down and become accustomed to the surrounding world. The art style is interwoven with the stories, as the fabric characters interact with the fabric environment: plots and objects unravel, things get pierced and stitched back up, buttons are lost, and costumes are created for a fabulous fashion show.
