Gaja’s World – Follow Me
It is an adventure story of 16-year old Gaja trying to save her mother from kidnappers.
The youth action comedy follows 16-year-old Gaja and her unusual family. Gaja, upon entering high school, meets new friends, experiences first love, but nothing is as it seems. Gaja undergoes her first heartbreak, was bullied by her classmates, then her mother, a doctor, who joins Doctors Without Borders on a special mission in a war zone, gets kidnapped. Gaja uses all her resourcefulness, courage, and proves what truly matters in life and that it’s never too late for a change for the better.
“In war, there are no winners. Everyone suffers, and no child, no adult, should ever experience war again,” we hear Gaja’s inner monologue as they return home. We conclude the story of the brave Gaja at a formal celebration, which turns out to be an award ceremony for the successful hostage rescue. A hug with the family. “My family is special, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world,” we hear the conclusion of Gaja’s inner monologue.
