Adventures tween girl Eva, accidentally finds a time portal to the ancient times. There she teams up with a brave Neanderthal boy to outwit Homo sapiens warriors, her distant ancestors, while trying to make it home before the portal closes forever.
A spirited 12-year-old Eva, grieving the loss of her beloved grandfather, finds solace in his parting advice: “Just imagine me and I’ll be there.” To help her heal, her parents send her to a camp near an ancient Neanderthal site. There Eva discovers a mysterious portal triggered by a passing comet. Transported to the distant past, she meets Hm, a gentle Neanderthal boy struggling to survive in a harsh world. As an unlikely friendship blossoms, the two face wild animals, funny adventures and the threat of an approaching Homo sapiens tribe. When Hm accidentaly follows Eva to the present day, hilarous chaos ensues—but their journey is far from over. Together, they must return to the past to rescue Hm’s family from the wild Homo sapiens tribe. Blending adventure, humor and heart, Eva and Hm is a time-traveling tale of courage, compassion and the lasting power of imagination—reminding us that even across millennia, friendship transcends worlds and makes everyone’s world a better place.
