Young Horizons Industry and Cinekid for Professionals proudly announce European producers selected for the fourth edition of Producers LINK.

Producers LINK is a prestigious programme designed for emerging producers of children’s content, organised by Young Horizons Industry and Cinekid for Professionals in collaboration with international partners.

The programme launches in Warsaw during Young Horizons Industry at the end of September and continues in Amsterdam during Cinekid for Professionals at the end of October. We are thrilled to continue this collaboration, creating exceptional opportunities for Europe’s top emerging producers to connect and exchange knowledge. The selected producers will get a chance to participate in two unmissable events for everyone working in children’s media:

Young Horizons Industry – This international co-production forum features a series of development and training programmes and serves as a meeting hub for film professionals. It is part of the Young Horizons International Film Festival in Warsaw, Poland. The event will be held from 30 September to 2 October 2024, with Producers LINK starting on 29 September.

Cinekid for Professionals – As the leading international industry event for professionals in children’s film and media, this four-day event will take place from 29 October to 1 November 2024, in Amsterdam during the Cinekid Festival, the world’s largest festival for children’s film and media.

In 2024, selected producers will engage in a series of sessions and workshops focused on audience development and audience awareness approaches, as well as pitch deck creation. The programme will also include case studies of successful European projects in collaboration with our partners.

Supporting emerging producers in approaching the international audiovisual market and thus strengthening the potential of European productions for young audiences guides our work on the Producers LINK programme. I'm looking forward to another year of this cooperation, and looking at this year's participants, I'm sure it will be a memorable edition.

Zofia Horszczaruk, Head of Young Horizons Industry

At this year’s Producers LINK 2024, we are thrilled to continue our mission of empowering emerging talent in the film industry. As always, this programme is dedicated to fostering connections and collaboration among young producers, providing them with the tools and connections they need to take the necessary next steps in their careers. We are proud to offer a platform that not only enhances their skills but also strengthens the global network of professionals committed to advancing children's media.

Sara Juricic, Head of Cinekid for Professionals

Last year I joined the Producers LINK programme and it allowed me to learn about the latest insights regarding children’s media in a wonderful bubble surrounded by fellow emerging producers. The team of Young Horizons and Cinekid for Professionals were most welcoming and made a tailor fit and inspiring programme.
