On 4 October, Maciej Jakubczyk, Department Director and Festival Strategic Director, Kamila Tomkiel-Skowronska, Director of the Young Horizons Festival, and Viola Gabrielli, Head of Programme, officially opened the 7th edition of the international co-production forum Young Horizons Industry. The event is the industry part of the Young Horizons Festival.

For the second time, we welcomed our guests to Warsaw’s Kinoteka. And for the first time under a new name – Young Horizons Industry.

Over the next three days, more than 300 film industry representatives from Poland and around the world will take part in panel discussions, case studies, pitching of 33 projects in development and work in progress, 1:1 meetings and consultations, as well as networking events.

This year’s programme is not only enriched by the Focus on Docs section, but also market screenings and presentations of the latest Polish films: “Kajtek the Wizard” and “Diplodocus”.

On the first day, together with the Regional Film Funds, we will celebrate their 15th anniversary.

Our guests will be able to talk to representatives of two companies: The Pack and Cinestash, who are offering services and products for the film industry, sales agents, distributors, producers, animators and the gaming industry.

The programme of the forum is enriched by accompanying programmes, Producers LINK for European producers and Young Talents for film and art school students and graduates organised together with our partners.
