Pitching
Submissions open from 25 February to 12 May 2026.
Submit your project at In-Development or Work-in-Progress stage and present it in front of 300+ international professionals during the Young Horizons Industry. Each year, we spotlight around 20 projects that are looking for co-producers and partners.

Non-pitching sessions, based on prescheduled one-to-one table talks. Project Pool was created to give more visibility and opportunities to filmmakers to help them find potential partners and gain feedback without pitching their film or series project on stage.

Non-pitching sessions, based on prescheduled one-to-one table talks. The newly formed Media Pool was created to give your VR, VP, game-based, transmedia project the opportunity to exchange with potential business partners.

The programme focuses on script development of live-action and animation projects. Current edition is open only for projects from Poland.
FAQ. General questions
- Pitching: producers.
- Project Pool, Media Pool, Young Horizons Lab: producers, scriptwriters, directors.
Projects aimed at young audiences: preschoolers, kids, teens, youth, family, from all around the world, with international potential and looking for international partners.
- Pitching, Project Pool: full-length films, series, and TV specials (min. 45 minutes); live-action, animation, documentary, transmedia projects, all genres.
- Media Pool: transmedia projects, apps.
You cannot submit a short film.
The main difference is that when having project in In-Development and Work-in-Progress sections, it is presented on stage, while when having project in Project Pool or Media Pool, it is presented during individual prescheduled table meetings.
Pitching (on stage):
- In-Development: the project needs to be in early or more advanced development stage.
- Work-in-Progress: the project needs to be at production or postproduction stage with shooting started by the end of August 2026.
Non-pitching sessions, prescheduled one-to-one table talks:
- Project Pool: the projects needs to be at script development, development, production, or postproduction stage.

Each production company can submit 2 projects in total.
Please don’t submit the same project to more than 1 (one) section.
Submissions are open to the projects from all around the world. Projects from outside the European Union and Europe are welcome.
You can submit the same project again. But please let us know in the application what has changed since you first applied/pitched to our event.
You can attend the forum without a project.
As an attendee you can still schedule one-to-one meetings with forum attendees.
The accreditation opens in July.
Fee and additional expenses
The submission is free of charge.
For the selected projects:
Pitching (In-Development, Work-in-Progress) accreditation: EUR 250 excl. VAT per team (max. 2 people*) includes:
- 2 online Pitching Trainings,
- accommodation (2 nights for 2 people in single rooms with breakfast),
- dedicated table in one-to-one meetings area,
- promotion in the catalogue and on the platform.
Project Pool, Media Pool accreditation EUR 100 excl. VAT for one person* includes:
- dedicated table in one-to-one meetings area,
- promotion in the catalogue and on the platform.
Both types of accreditation covers:
- lunches and coffee breaks,
- access to the Young Horizons Industry forum,
- free admission to all the screenings of Young Horizons IFF,
- access to the Young Horizons Industry online platform.
In both cases travel expenses need to be covered by you.
*If you would like to come with more team members, any extra member needs to buy the accreditation and cover the accommodation and travel expenses.

Materials and attachments needed for the submission:
Pitching (In-Development, Work-in-Progress):
- photo or key visual of the project
- logline (max. 300 characters including spaces)
- synopsis (max. 1000 characters including spaces)
- project description (film, max. 2 pages) or episodes outlines (series, max. 2 pages)
- screenwriter’s and producer’s bios (max. 1000 characters including spaces)
- company profile (max. 600 characters including spaces)
- planned financing structure (one-page in pdf in euros. This is confidential and used only for the purpose of selection. Not for publication)
- moodboard
- optional link to the film materials/ footage
- optional materials: green and sustainability concept, marketing concept, bible (max. 3 pages)
Project Pool, Media Pool
- photo or key visual of the project
- producer’s, screenwriter’s or director’s bio (max. 1000 characters including spaces)
- logline (max. 300 characters including spaces)
- synopsis (max. 1000 characters including spaces)
- project description (max. 2 pages)
- pitch deck (it should include information about your visual concept, a brief overview of your budget, your target audience and distribution strategy, information about the creators)
Planned financing structure is a one-page financing plan in pdf and it must be calculated in euros.
