Our friends live in a tidepool by the ocean. The sides of the pool are the horizons of their world, but every tide, some mysterious object is washed in. Each episode, they try to make sense of this magical arrival, guided by the voice of a kindly narrator. In fact, these amazing treasures are just the rubbish of the modern world- bottle tops, crisp packets and cans. But our friends invent all sorts of wonderful purposes and meanings, before the next tide washes the treasures away, and brings them something new.
