When 13-year-old Sara accidentally steals her brother’s big dream of becoming a TV-superstar in a music talent show, their bond is pushed to the breaking point. Only after an avalanche traps them in a winter wonderland do the siblings have the chance to reconnect.

Outgoing LAKI (9) dreams of competing in the biggest television music talent show, but at the audition his dreams are crushed as he watches his sister SARA (12) becomes a contestant instead of him. When the time of the big mountain Christmas finale comes, their conflict escalates and during one of their explosive arguments they accidently trigger an avalanche. The kids get lost in the Slovenian Alps where they are rescued by PETER (65) a grumpy recluse. Trapped in a cabin in an isolated snowy village, far from the glitter and glamour of showbiz, the kids find a way to make amends. When they do make it to the big show finale, they both come to the realization that their dreams have changed.
