A rebellious lonely teenager – Alex, and her estranged girlfriend - Daisy, from our world - are mistakenly dragged into the Grimm fairytale world where they must undergo a perilous quest with a hapless prince to find and rescue Snow White. Her evil stepmother is changing all the happy endings of the fairy tales to unhappy ones, and if the teenagers don’t awaken Snow White, the evil characters will triumph and the evil Queen will rule the kingdom forever. On their adventurous journey through the fairy tales, the two girls, who start as enemies but become close as sisters, uncover secrets about the kingdom and themselves, culminating at the end in the biggest, most surprising revelation of all: Alex is not here by accident. She is Snow White.
