Young Cast

Young Cast documentary will tell about the art educations which will be given to approximately 250 young people, who act in a movie, for a year and the changes in their lives in the shooting process.

Young Cast is a powerful documentary that traces a two-year journey of children aged 9 to 13 who received cinema training and performed in the feature film Three Friends, shot in summer 2022 in Bursa. The project began with school visits in October 2021, offering inclusive education that nurtured talent, confidence, and creativity. Daily workshops in June 2022 prepared the children for set life, where they embraced roles with passion and resilience. One participant, a young girl, was later admitted to a prestigious fine arts high school—an outcome born from this transformative process. The film premiered in January 2024 with the full young cast present. Young Cast is more than a film; it’s a moving testament to how cinema can shape young lives and open doors through education and imagination.
