An everyday British family gets mistaken for famous soccer players (because of their replica kits) by a pair of bumbling aliens. The extraterrestrials whisk Billy, Sally, Mum and Dad across the galaxy to help save their oddball team from relegation.
Us humans, we’re pretty football obsessed as a species. We’re also fascinated by the thought of aliens – beings that might look like us, but that live on other planets millions of lightyears away. What if aliens had football tournaments themselves? When a plucky down-on-their-luck alien team runs short of decent players, they travel to Earth to convince four star footballers to join their team. However, the bumbling aliens mistake Billy, Sally, Mum and Dad – an everyday Liverpudlian family as famous footballers because they’re wearing fan replica shirts. Can the humans put aside their squabbles and help Gof Albion team succeed?

Lidia Chirița
Proud of her Moldovan origin and driven by a global mindset, Lidia began her career in the non- profit sector, working with intergovernmental organisations on global initiatives in environmental education, climate change, and human rights. She has been active in the animation industry since 2018, passionately pursuing her dream of creating high-quality, globally resonant films. Her background includes roles in international marketing and distribution on titles such as ‘The Snow Queen’ franchise and ‘Secret Magic Control Agency’ (2021). ‘REBELLIOUS’ (2024) marks her debut as a producer. Lidia is currently in production on her second feature, ‘ALIENS FC.’
