Young Talents at Young Horizons Industry
We are happy to welcome talented students and recent graduates from the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, and Poland. All of them will take part in the second edition of the Young Talents programme for international film and art school students.
The goal of the programme
The goal of Young Talents is to promote up-and-coming filmmakers and introduce them to the international film industry.
Young Talents is another programme alongside Producers LINK that accompanies the Young Horizons Industry forum. The presence of young talents and emerging producers gives you possibilities of extending your business network whether you are looking for a co-producer or a creative.
If you are coming to the Young Horizons Industry forum, we strongly encourage you to book a meeting with our Young Talents participants – get to know them before the rest of the world finds out about them!
What awaits for the participants?
The Young Talents programme starts on 4 October before the opening of the forum.
During Young Horizons Industry, our participants will have a chance to learn and experience how international film industry events work, how to schedule the agenda to make the most of the time while they are at the forum, and why networking activities are so beneficial from the beginning of their professional career. Representatives from Animoon, GS Animation / Grupa Smacznego, and Blue Zoo Animation Studio will join the opening session to present their companies and share some tips on how to enter the market and find their way around it.
Next, Anna E. Dziedzic from Crew United will conduct a masterclass “How to position yourself in the film market”. After the masterclass, participants will know how to navigate and promote themselves within the film market. They will also learn about the characteristics of big markets like the Cannes Film Market and smaller markets like PÖFF.
All Young Talents participants will attend the Young Horizons Industry 3-day programme and will stay in Warsaw until 6 October.
