Young Horizons Industry and Cinekid for Professionals welcome 21 producers from 16 countries who were selected for the sixth edition of Producers LINK. The programme will start in September in Warsaw at Young Horizons Industry and continue during Cinekid for Professionals in Amsterdam this October.

Producers LINK is a distinguished programme designed for emerging producers of children’s content, organised by Young Horizons Industry and Cinekid for Professionals in collaboration with international partners.

Over the course of the two events, the selected producers will engage in a series of sessions and workshops focused on international co-production, audience development and audience awareness approaches, alternative financing, IP exploration as well as pitching skills. The programme will also include case studies of successful European children and family projects.

Thanks to the continued support of international partners, the programme is able to create new opportunities for Europe’s leading and emerging producers to connect and exchange knowledge. It also continues to attract interest from new territories, with new partners joining this year: Swiss Films and Poznań Film Commission.

By participating in the programme selected producers will get a chance to attend two unmissable events for everyone working in children’s media: Cinekid for Professionals and Young Horizons Industry.

  • Young Horizons Industry – This international co-production forum and meeting hub helps creators connect with potential partners and film professionals. The programme of the forum features a series of development and training workshops  with pitching presentations and conference day being the core of the event. It is part of the TAURON Young Horizons International Film Festival in Warsaw, Poland. The event will be held from 28 to 30 September 2026, with Producers LINK starting on 27 September.
  • Cinekid for Professionals – As the leading international industry event for professionals in children’s film and media, this three-day event will take place from 13 until 15 October 2026, including the Junior Co-Production Market, the Industry Forum, and the first residency of Cinekid Script LAB. It takes place in Amsterdam during the Cinekid Festival, the world’s largest festival for children’s film and media.

Former participants about the programme

Producers LINK gave me a fresh perspective on how important it is to create for young audiences: why I do it and why I want to keep doing it. The pitching workshops gave me a lot — they opened my mind and helped unlock things that would have been difficult to reach on my own. I gained many tools for my future work. It was great to meet so many interesting people and take part in events such as Young Horizons and Cinekid. So much knowledge, inspiration, great lectures and panels — it was a truly valuable and motivating time.

Zuzanna Maszka, GS Animation, Poland – Producers LINK 2025 participant

Producers LINK was an incredibly valuable experience because it connected me with producers from across Europe in a very open and collaborative environment. The programme offered practical insight into international co-production and helped expand both my professional network and perspective on developing projects.

Organisers about the programme

Together with our partners, Producers LINK is helping to open doors for emerging producers into the international world of children’s and family content. Strong networks and meaningful connections are often what turn great ideas into successful collaborations, which is why creating space for exchange, peer learning, and international relationship-building remains at the heart of the programme. We are delighted to welcome a new group of talented producers and look forward to seeing how the connections built through Producers LINK will shape their future careers.

Anna E. Dziedzic, Head of Young Horizons Industry

Producers LINK has become an essential meeting point for producers working in children's and family content for the international market; a place to build lasting networks, exchange ideas, and develop the skills to take their projects further. As the geographical scope of our programme continues to grow, we are hugely grateful to everyone who makes this possible: new partners and returning alike.
