Selection committee – FILM
Selma Munksgaard Hansen
Director and producer, Angel Films, Denmark
Selma is a producer and director based in Copenhagen. She freelanced for five years before joining Angel Films as a producer and director in 2020. With a background from the alternative film school Super8, Selma has primarily worked with fiction but recently started her first feature documentary and is currently co-producing two international documentaries. Selma is passionate about projects that show a unique perspective and distinct originality.
Julietta Sichel
CEO of 8Heads Productions, Czechia
Julietta is a Czech film producer with almost 30 years of experience in film business. She started producing films in 2010, after founding 8Heads Productions and concentrating on international coproductions and projects with an international potential. The films produced or co-produced by 8Heads Productions were presented at numerous festivals around the world and sold for several territories. The current focus of the company is on high quality films for children and youth, such as the teenage ice-hockey drama “The Pack” (2020), which was shown at many festivals, including the Tallinn Just Film Competition in 2020, or the recently completed children winter historical road movie “Secret Delivery” (2025), represented by Coccinelle Film Sales.
Julia Weber
Managing Director, Epsilon Film, Germany
Julia began her career in advertising at Grey Worldwide and later supported the marketing team at Buena Vista International on such releases as “Tarzan” and “Runaway Bride”. After graduating from the Production and Media Business department at the University of Television and Film (HFF) in Munich, Germany, she took her first steps in the film industry in Los Angeles by working for Wolfgang Petersen’s Radiant Productions in 2001, before moving to the Munich-based production entity Screencraft Entertainment. In 2008, Julia expanded the scope of her global experience and network by focusing on international sales when she was appointed as Sales Manager at Telepool/Global Screen. She was later promoted there to the senior role of Head of Acquisitions, Development and Sales for both feature films and TV series.

Maja Fišter
Head of Kids and Youth Department, HRT, Croatia
Maja is Head of the Kids and Youth Department at the Croatian Television (HRT), where her goal is to produce a greater amount of innovative content for HRT’s young audiences. She has always had a passion for creating compelling television content. After earning a degree in journalism, her media journey started at HRT, where she has worked as a reporter, host, author, and executive editor across various editorial departments and special projects. She has also showcased her talents behind the scenes as a screenwriter and director of documentaries and reality-doc series. She has a keen interest in innovative projects, especially multi-platform projects for young viewers that focus on engaging audiences in new and exciting ways.
Jakub Karwowski
CEO of LETKO, Poland
Jakub is a co-founder, president, and Head of Positivity of the Letko animation studio in Warsaw, which he has been running since 2015. He is also the co-creator of concepts for animated projects, a script consultant, and an executive producer. He is a member of the Polish Animation Producers Association and the Producers Guild of Poland. Jakub is the executive producer of the series “Odo”, which has been sold to television networks in over 100 countries, and of the feature film “Jacob, Mimmi and the Talking Dogs”, as well as one of the co-producers of Mariusz Wilczyński’s film “Kill It and Leave This Town”. Jakub has made 8 auteur projects which have been screened in over 50 countries.
Gennarino Romano
International Sales and Head of Acquisitions, Dandelooo, France
Gennarino has been a partner at Dandelooo since 2017. He initially studied business and finance before switching to the art of cinema and television at the University of Furtwangen in Germany. As Head of Acquisitions and International Sales Manager, he and his team have selected and built a first-class catalogue of programmes such as “Pompon Little Bear”, the award-winning half-hour specials “Shooom’s Odyssey”, “Ernest and Celestine, the Collection”, and many more from other friendly production companies around the world. With more than 2500 hours of animated films and series, Dandelooo’s catalogue continues to grow with meaningful programmes for kids.
