We are happy to announce that the Young Horizons Industry award at CEE Animation Forum (12-13 Nov 2025, Pilsen, Czechia) goes to the extraordinary project “Finding Home” directed by Anja Manou Hellem, written by Trond Morten Kristensen Venaasen, and produced by Lillian Løvseth from Trollfilm. Congratulations!

“Finding Home” is the first project selected for the next edition of the Young Horizons Industry which will take place between 6 and 8 October 2025 in Warsaw in Poland.

About the project

“Finding Home” is the story of a young musk ox calf who is forced on a journey to find his way back home after being taken away and transported from Greenland to Norway. Lost in the unfamiliar wilderness of Mount Dovre, Musky meets unexpected companionship: Foxy, a lonely Arctic fox, and Reiny, a rebellious reindeer calf. On their journey, they face many dangers in a challenging landscape, and together, discover their own strengths and the true meaning of family and friendship. This animated adventure, inspired by true events, explores themes of belonging, bravery, and the power of a found family in the face of overwhelming odds.

You can check more about the project on the CEE Animation Forum website.
