Day 3 – one-to-one meetings continue, round table, market presentations, and time to wrap up!
This year, we spent the whole final day of the forum in our new venue: ibis Styles Warszawa City Hotel. This is a bigger space that offers more room for the meetings of film creators and experts.
The programme for the last day consisted of one-to-one meetings and consultants’ tables with Marina Narishkin, marketing and IP building, Heiko Martens, scriptwriting, and Laila Lala, green filming.
Round table
The highlight of the day was the round table titled “Securing IP’s – Opportunities and Challenges of Book Adaptations” hosted by Cristina Angelucci, accompanied by Marina Narishkin, Michał Broniszewski, and Eirik Sæter Stordahl.
Market presentation
Later that day, distributors, broadcasters, and festival representatives took part in the market presentation of the Hungarian-Dutch project “I Accidentally Wrote a Book”. The film was previously presented at our forum in the pitching section.
To round off the last day, the festival team invited our guests to take part in the MediaLab Tour.
The 8th Young Horizons Industry took place from 30 September to 2 October in Warsaw, Poland. The three days were all filled with inspiring conversations and insightful presentations. We are happy to have had you here in Warsaw and we are looking forward to next year’s forum. Stay curious!
