Megi and Zigi travel the world exploring diverse dance styles, sharing their adventures online.

“Megi Zigi Dance” is an animated series for children with a central focus on dance. Megi and Zigi are best friends, and together they run the popular online channel “Megi Zigi Dance,” where they share their dance adventures. In each episode, they perform a magical dance that takes them to a new destination. There, they discover a different dance style inspired by local culture and traditions. Each episode features a self-contained story. The series combines themes of dance, travel, and social media, while emphasizing the many positive aspects of dancing: it’s fun, it encourages teamwork, fosters personal growth, and helps overcome individual challenges.

Karolina Sendecka

Producer

Karolina Sendecka – graduated from the Film Art Organisation Production Department at the Polish National Film School in Łódź. She has worked as a production and set manager on short films, feature films, and commercials.
For the past eight years, she has been part of the studio Animoon, where she worked on a production team for projects such as ‘How I Became a Supervillain,’ ‘I Love This Job,’ and ‘Even Mice Belong in Heaven.’ She is currently leading the production of the stop-motion feature film ‘RO,’ directed by Magdalena Osińska.
She is the creator, producer, and co-writer of the original series ‘Megi Zigi Dance.’ Since 2020, the Head of the Association of Film Animation.

Magdalena Pilecka

Director

Magdalena Pilecka – director, animator, visual storyteller; director of the ‘Megi Zigi Dance’ series. Author of animated shorts, music videos and micro-series, including the award-winning ‘DINO or something.’ Her work balances grotesque, absurdity and childlike sensitivity, blending humour with emotional depth.
She debuted in 2016 with ‘Piórnikt’ (The Penciless Case) produced at Munk Studio. Since 2020, she has been teaching animation at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw and leading workshops for children and young adults in Poland and Germany.
Her films have been screened at major festivals such as DOK Leipzig, Cannes Short Film Corner, ANIMASIVO, ANIMATOR, New Horizons, KLIK! Amsterdam and MONSTRA. She has also collaborated with institutions and brands including WWF, H&M, Agora, and the Fryderyk Chopin Institute.
