I Accidentally Wrote a Book
A 12 year old girl Nina, experiences the healing power of writing and the miracle of story-telling.
“I Accidentally Wrote a Book” tells the very personal and inspiring story of Nina, a 12-year-old girl who discovers the healing power of writing. As she learns to write, Nina uncovers her family’s history, experiences her long-suppressed grief of her lost mom and gains deeper self-understanding. We follow the daily life of a young teenage girl as she deals with conflicts with her little brother, experiences her first love, her first menstruation and all the struggles of becoming a woman. We follow every moment of her life through her writing, which makes the story very unique and personal, and gives plenty of space to creatively express her inner emotions. The storytelling itself is playful, as we can follow how each decision the writer makes changes the whole story. All depicted with unique visual elements that blend live action and animation, celebrating the miracle of storytelling.
