An everyday British family get mistaken for famous soccer players (because of their replica kits) by a pair of bumbling aliens. The extraterrestrials whisk Billy, Sally, Mum and Dad across the galaxy to help save their oddball team from relegation.
Us humans, we’re pretty football obsessed as a species. We’re also fascinated by the thought of aliens – beings that might look like us, but that live on other planets millions of lightyears away. What if aliens had football tournaments themselves? When a plucky down-on-their-luck alien team runs short of decent players, they travel to Earth to convince four star footballers to join their team. However, the bumbling aliens mistake Billy, Sally, Mum and Dad – an everyday Liverpudlian family as famous footballers because they’re wearing fan replica shirts. Can the humans put aside their squabbles and help Gof Albion team succeed?
