Close-Up Talk 3: New Kids on the Block – How New Type of Creators Are Making Stories Work
To take part in this session you need to be registered. Registration is open on the platform for accredited guests.
A new generation of creators is emerging—business-savvy, audience-focused, and creatively ambitious. These storytellers are changing the rules by involving their audiences early and thinking beyond traditional production and distribution models.
In this round table, Anna Zychowicz, a representative Gen Z producer from the new production house Laniakea Pictures, shares how she develops content that resonates with young audiences. Her live-action influencer cinema hit “Graduation Heist” drew over 1 million viewers in Polish cinemas and created a buzz among teenagers in Poland. While the project represents a high-profile, influencer-backed project, we’ll also critically examine strategies for creators working outside that spotlight.
This session will explore how strategic planning, audience insight, and fan-community building can help projects stand out. As more non-traditional players enter the content space, these fresh, audience-first models offer valuable lessons for the next generation of storytellers.
This session is a must-attend for all emerging creators who are interested in topics of audience engagement, youth content, independent production, and new business models.
