Project Pool 2026. List of projects

15 projects will take part in the Project Pool section at the Young Horizons Industry forum (28-30.09.2026, Warsaw, Poland) which is an industry part of the TAURON Young Horizons International Film Festival.

Project Pool is a non-pitching networking format designed for projects at different stages: script, in-development, work-in-progress, looking for partners and co-production opportunities or feedback. Participants meet industry guests in a series of pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings, where they can present their projects in a more targeted way.

Project Pool is positioned between the main pitching selection and regular accredited participants, offering increased visibility and structured networking opportunities. This is a perfect place to discover new projects from very early stages to almost finished during a one-to-one conversation with its creators.

This section features projects by creators participating in the forum for the first time, as well as those developed by returning participants. Most of the selected projects come from Poland, the Czech Republic, and Germany. Three of the projects were developed during the Young Horizons Lab workshops, which we have been organising under the guidance of Philip LaZebnik (Compass of the Heart, Once Upon a Time in Whisperwood, Wild Squad).

This year’s Project Pool selection includes titles for older audiences, such as a story about a disgraced Michelin-starred chef who must teach a group of wildly funny teenage outsiders to cook in a juvenile detention centre, and a horror film about 15-year-old Olga who suffers from depression and suspects that her new best friend is a vampire.

For those looking for projects for much younger audiences, there are a stop-motion animated series about coping with fear or a story about three reporters who investigate the universe’s weirdest stories while staying one step ahead of some very suspicious shadowy men.

Each project in this section will get its own table for one-to-one meetings with potential partners.

The meeting system will open in mid-September on our platform. To book a meeting, you need to have an accreditation.

The projects shortlisted for this section will not be presented on stage but the pre-recorded 1-minute elevator pitching videos will be available on the platform.
