11 projects will take part in the Project Pool, out of pitching section at the Young Horizons Industry forum (29.09–1.10.2025, Warsaw, Poland). 1 project was chosen for Media Pool, a pilot scheme for apps and games.

Apart from having a possibility to promote the project and connect with potential partners, thanks to our partnership with PFX, creators behind the selected projects from this section will have a chance to win the PFX award. You can read about it at the end of this article.

Project Pool was created to give more visibility and opportunities to filmmakers to help them find potential partners and gain feedback without pitching their projects on stage. This is a perfect place to discover new projects from very early stages to almost finished during a one-to-one conversation with its creators.

Based on the submissions and increasing interest from the market we decided to open a new section: Media Pool for transmedia projects, apps and tools.

Book a meeting with Project Pool and Media Pool participants

Each project in this section will get its own table for 1:1 meetings with potential partners.

We encourage you to schedule a meeting with the creators selected for both sections. The meeting system will open in September on our platform. To book a meeting, you need to have an accreditation.

The projects shortlisted for this section will not be presented on stage but the pre-recorded 1-minute elevator pitching videos will be available on the platform.

The creators of the selected projects include former participants in Young Horizons Industry and Young Horizons Lab: Shelly Gertan, Koji Nelissen, Mirosław Skowron.

The awarded project will receive dedicated mentoring support, tailored to its stage of development and needs, which may include:

  • analysis of potential funding pathways (grants, funding, co-productions)
  • advice on sales potential in international markets
  • pitch deck analysis
  • evaluation of literary materials
  • recommendations for a project development strategy

PFX aim is to support original, valuable projects for young audiences – with both artistic and commercial potential. Through mentoring, we want to help creators find the best way forward for their work and – if the opportunity arises – co-create the future of the project with them.
