We kicked off 2026 with big changes in the structure of the Young Horizons Industry team. At the beginning of February, Zofia Horszczaruk, who has been involved in industry programmes for over 7 years, is starting a new chapter in her life.

We would like to thank Zofia for the knowledge, experience and heart she has brought to the Young Horizons Industry. It has been a wonderful adventure and an honour to work together. We are keeping our fingers crossed for Zofia. We are certain to see her again somewhere on the road!

At the same time, we are delighted to introduce Anna E. Dziedzic, who will be taking over the industry projects. We have had the pleasure to work with Anna multiple times at the forum. She knows the event inside out and is aware of the challenges faced by the film industry.

We are confident that under her leadership, the Young Horizons Industry forum and Young Horizons Lab script development workshop will continue to support the film industry and promote the development of projects for kids and youth.

Zofia Horszczaruk:

I have been involved with Young Horizons Industry since its second edition. I strongly feel that during this time, Young Horizons Industry has consistently developed as one of the key international industry events dedicated to cinema for young audiences. Over the years, together with the team, I have co-created a platform which, in parallel with the forum, also supports filmmakers locally and internationally in the development of their projects, including through numerous editions of screenplay development workshops and individual project consultations.

The last few years have been a time of intense professional development, trust, and close cooperation with an exceptional team for me. It is with great satisfaction and a sense of continuity that I am now handing over the project to Anna. Her many years of diverse experience in the film industry as well as our previous collaboration in many fields provide a solid foundation for the further development of Young Horizons Industry and the opening of the project to new perspectives.
