On the Island of Zabavia four little animal friends embark on a journey full of funny adventures.
The series represents a never-ending adventurous journey of four little animal friends: the crocodile Crocky who is allergic to water, the hippo Bella who uncontrollably levitates when in love, the jerboa Dash who is stuttering but superfast and gifted with an extraordinary hearing, and the giraffe Dotty who is clumsy but extremely smart. They travel through the Island of Zabavia to investigate the cause of the island’s constant cataclysms. Helping each other to overcome various obstacles and dangers along their journey, as well as helping others who are in trouble, despite disagreements related to their different personalities, fears, and secrets, the heroes learn the real power of friendship and respect for each other’s personalities and peculiarities.
Olga Zhurzhenko
Olga Zhurzhenko is a professional film producer from MOREFILM, with an extensive career spanning almost 15 years in the industry. Educated by prestigious European producers educational programs, such as MIDPOINT TV Launch 2021, Series Woman 2022 and EAVE 2023. At the moment, her company’s development slate besides “ZAbavia” includes animation “Returners” supported by Polish Film Institute, MIDLIFE feature film (selected for Torino Comedy Lab), as well as a series about one of the most notorious and bloody inmate appraisals in GULAG concentration camps history, called “40 Days For Love” supported by USAID. Member of Producer’s Guild of America, as well as the European and Ukrainian Film Academies. Olga aims to keep on propelling filmmaker’s access to the world through her knowledge of different territories, languages, market strategies, distribution tactics and outsourcing opportunities. MOREFILM’s mission is to create content which will easily travel the world, entertain and inspire for positive changes. We envision this done by creating socially-important viewer-oriented content which necessarily adheres to laws of genres and formats, just as “Zabavia”.
