Live-action film with mix of animation

This is a story about longing, passion and regaining self-confidence. Lena, who hasn’t been drawing since her grandmother’s death, decides to take part in a school drawing competition. However, a friend from another class, Ala, steals her briefcase with works and wins the Golden Brush Statuette herself. It occurs surprisingly that the winner should also paint the mural, so this will cause many previously unplanned events, including crazy idea of cooperation between girls.

Screenwriter

Graduate of Adam Mickiewicz University of Poznań. The author of the widely read series of children books "Przystanek Szkoła" (aged 7-11). She completed several novel and script writing courses at Maszyna do Pisania and Storylab.pro, including script consultations. A participant of the second edition of SFPitch. 2nd prize winner of the 2023 edition of the "Just Imagine / Wyobraź Sobie" treatment competition with a project "Wings / Dodaj mi skrzydeł!".

Director, screenwriter & script consultant. Graduate of Warsaw Film School (film directing), University of Wroclaw (journalism) and StoryLab.pro (script development). Winner of New Horizons Studio Prize and Panavision Award. Author of short films („Inka”, „First”, „Off-season”) that were nominated and awarded at several film festivals. Participant of many workshops as Sundance Collab, Raindance Film Academy or Warsaw Next. Currently in post-production of a long-feature film, „Where Do We Begin”.
