Cracow, early summer. Insecure Borsuk (15) yearns to join the skater world, seeing it as strong and masculine. When his parents inform him about their divorce and the upcoming move to Copenhagen with his mom, angry Borsuk flees to the skatepark. There, he meets his idol Tony, a local skateboarding star. Fascination surprisingly becomes friendship, fueling jealousy in Tony’s former friend, Staszex. Borsuk decides to stay in Cracow. The carefree summer ends abruptly when Tony collapses at the skatepark – he’s seriously ill. The shared crisis brings Borsuk closer to Tony’s girlfriend, Maja, but Staszex sees it as betrayal. The dejected boy is the first to come face to face with Tony after surgery. Tony’s illness reconciles Borsuk and Staszex. The united group accompanies Tony until his death. At the end of the summer Borsuk leaves for Copenhagen. His friendship with Tony and the community gave him strength. He realized that by accepting himself, he doesn’t have to be afraid of loneliness.
