The Crystal Planet

11-year-old girl, Rea, and her father relocate to the newly discovered Crystal Planet, where he got a job in a factory that makes robotic animals and is owned by the planet’s governor Mordokan. But Mordokan doesn’t respect the environment and dumps toxic waste into unexplored holes in the ground. There is rich floral and animal life beneath the surface, inhabiting vast underground caves. There, a dinosaur-like creature cares for her cub when, suddenly, a terrifying mutant-monster attacks them and takes the cub’s mother away. The cub by coincidence ends up on the surface of the planet, where neither he nor any of his kind have ventured for thousands of years. Together with her new neighbor, 11-year old Andy, Rea discovers the cub and resolves to take care of it. However, greedy Mordokan steals the cub from the children, planning to turn it into a robotic animal for a profit. Both Rea and Andy realize that they don’t have much time left to save the cub and return it to its herd.
