Seven-year-old Ali is sent to live with his grandmother in the village while his mother struggles with a fatal illness. Ali searches for a way to save his mother from the disease and thinks that the best way is to talk to God. In the village, Ali befriends a goose named Yaman and, in a childish way, believes that Yaman can talk to God. However, due to a mistake, Yaman is sent to be sold to the market with the other geese. Ali is obsessed with the idea that if he manages to save Yaman, his mother will come out of surgery without any problems and he is determined to do everything in his power to save her.
