Ten-year-old Pola dreams of a perfect Christmas and a microscope that will earn her classmates’ admiration. Sent to stay with her grumpy grandma Pelagia, she uncovers a family secret and learns that Christmas may be canceled — Santa Claus has been fired, chaos reigns, and the sinister Frostislav Rime is taking over. With help from an eccentric neighbor, a runaway reindeer, and even her overworked parents, Pola sets out to save Christmas. Together, they restore the holiday spirit using millions of miniature Santas and a bit of magic. Along the way, Pola discovers that the greatest gift isn’t found under the tree, but in family, love, and believing in the impossible.
